07.24.00 upcoming local shows click here ok, here's the deal, I know it's been two weeks, but we are still working on the online ordering stuff.... we got a new server with the capabilities to take credit card orders, and we are now in the process of setting the actual pages themselves as well as the account to take credit card orders... please bare with us it will be done soon and you will be able to order all kinds of rock, not just stuff we put out but stuff we like, woohoo!! As some of you may know by now, we had the show / release party for the comp at the bowling alley and it went really well... something like 400 kids came out, it was crazy and kids even came just to buy te comp and leave. we just wanted to thank everyone who was there for their support and i hope you all had a good time. for those of you who didn't already hear, every tuesday nite we are going to be having fadeaway rock and bowl there... $6 for unlimited bowing from 8 to 1 and then on the occasion that there are bands playing there (prolly once every other month or so it will be $10 like the other nite. We are trying to work it so there will be distros there and stuff too, email us at info@fadeawayrecords.com if you are interested.... thisyearsmodel hit the road on friday for the next 10 days.. check out the tour dates section to see when they will be near you.... this is some rock you don't wanna miss... in other tour news, now she's gone is out with the juliana theory and will be out west this week, you should try to check them out if you can their ep is out now and since the store here isn't open yet your best bet for getting your hands on it is through them. as of last week we began negotiations with a distribution company which will make our releases much more widely available... like in stores everywhere, as soon as things are finalized I will let you know... the miracle of 86 record, which has been done forever is finally going to make its way to a record store near you (especially when the whole distro thing is worked out), IT WILL BE OUT SOMETIME IN SEPTEMBER, i promise, i know that release dates keep showing up and passing by, but everything is worked out and i am doing the layout right now. due to the fact that the record was recorded almost a year ago, we are going to make it up to you guys and early next year we will be releasing a miracle EP (or possibly a split with some other monster of rock) containing a bunch of the newer songs they have been writing. finally in miracle of 86 news, the band recently added a 2nd guitarist to the line up, this 4 piece rock extravaganza will be coming to a town near you soon... look for them to be touring by the end of the year. ...and the hot rod circuit / thisyearsmodel split will also be out soon, we are looking at october, but it could be out as early as september too... it will be a limited 7" 500 black and 100 on each of 5 colors of vinyl and a cd (the CD is gonna be cool as hell too, but I am not gonna go into that now til the plan is a definite), the CD isn't going ot be limited, but as for the vinyl the black will goto mail order adn each band will get 2 colors... the 5th color will be available exclusively on our online store which will be up and running soon... glassjaw came through town about two week ago with the deftones, the show was amazing.. they are still out for a few more weeks, and if you can get out to a show, you'll know what I am saying. those kids rule and it was so amazing to finally see then on this tour first hand. some advanced notice, if you wanted to get one of our samplers, but couldn't get out to any of the shows they were available at, the first 2000 are gone, but we are repressing it and I will be taking them with me in September on the west coast leg of the get up kids tour (from seattle to texas)... they are still free, just look for me... teeter is now back
in NYC for good, which rules... woohoo!!
