with venues and was forced to cut it down to only one day, but it is
going to be an awesome show....
we got a new server with the capabilities to take credit card orders, and we are now in the process of setting the actual pages themselves as well as the account to take credit card orders... please bare with us it will be done soon and you will be able to order all kinds of rock, not just stuff we put out but stuff we like, woohoo!! thisyearsmodel will be out for the greater part of the mont of september with saturday supercade (straight out of the natti) check the tour dates section for some specifics... click here now she's gone just returned home from a long stint with the juliana theory, I would like to thank everyone who came out to the shows posted about how much fun the shows were and supported them... they rock and I am glad that people all over the country now know that.... they actually got to finish up their tour as the suprise openign band on the at teh drive-in show on the 8th.... I also wanna thank everyone who has been supporting the shows and tuesday nite rock andbowl in gardencity, you guys have made it worth doing and we personally and to thank all of you for supporting it.... we had to stop charging at the door during errortype:11 the other nite cause teh man showed up, but at that point roughly 510 peopel had paided and I can safely say by the time at the drive-in took the stage there were upwords of 600 people there. in related news as some of you may know by now, we had some minor problems with the last show, it seems the resturant next door called the fire marshal, who came out and issued thousands of dollars in tickets to the bowling alley. I just wanna let everyone know that the garden city bowl is being very supportive of what we are doing and is going to handle getting the fines dropped and getting us the proper permits so that it nothing can happen to slow things down again. I also want to thank at the drive-in, when we first assumed that we were going to have to pay the tickets ourselves for dave to be able to keep his job, they offered to play for free to help us out... it wasn't necessary and we didn't let them do it, but I want to let everyone know that may be questioning them, or how big they are getting or the size of the shows that they are playing recently, they are still some of the nicest guys around and are totally out to keep diy shows and labels happening.... for those of you who didn't already hear, every tuesday nite we are going to be having fadeaway rock and bowl at the amf garden city bowl.... $6 for unlimited bowing from 8 to 1 and then on the occasion that there are bands playing there (prolly once every other month or so it will be $10 like the other nite. We are trying to work it so there will be distros there and stuff too, email us at info@fadeawayrecords.com if you are interested.... as of two days ago we finalized our distro deal with the symbiotic label group, and we are totally excited to have been asked to work with them... they are going ot make it possible for you to go into your local record store and pick up the latest fadeaway releases.. the miracle of 86 record, which has been done forever is finally going to make its way to a record store near you (especially when the whole distro thing is worked out), IT WILL BE OUT SOMETIME IN SEPTEMBER, i promise, i know that release dates keep showing up and passing by, but everything is worked out and i am doing the layout right now. due to the fact that the record was recorded almost a year ago, we are going to make it up to you guys and early next year we will be releasing a miracle EP (or possibly a split with some other monster of rock) containing a bunch of the newer songs they have been writing. finally in miracle of 86 news, the band recently added a 2nd guitarist to the line up, this 4 piece rock extravaganza will be coming to a town near you soon... look for them to be touring by the end of the year. dropout year is a new band from longisland NY...thier 8 song cd is out now..sounds kinda like 7seconds/gorrila biscuits, with a newer kid dynamite type sound..they rock, and you should all check them out....email eshumz@aol.com for more info..you can aslo hear a song at mp3.com our friends in j-majesty are about to head back out on the road with jets to brazil... try to check them out if you can, you won't be disappointed.. here are some dates:
...and the hot rod circuit / thisyearsmodel split will also be out soon, we are looking at october, but it could be out as early as september too... it will be a limited 7" 500 black and 100 on each of 5 colors of vinyl and a cd (the CD is gonna be cool as hell too, but I am not gonna go into that now til the plan is a definite), the CD isn't going to be limited, but as for the vinyl the black will goto mail order and each band will get 2 colors... the 5th color will be available exclusively on our online store which will be up and running soon... glassjaw is currently on their way home from their tour with the deftones which has kept them out all summer... if you missed them this time around, they will be heading back out in roughly a week and a half for atleast a month with earthcrisis, relative ash and drowningman... check out their site for tour dates some advanced notice, if you wanted to get one of our samplers, but couldn't get out to any of the shows they were available at, the first 2000 are gone, but we are repressing it and I will be taking them with me in September on the west coast leg of the get up kids tour (from seattle to texas)... they are still free, just look for me...
