09.27.00 ok well here's the deal I was just away for the past two weeks and now I have the flu, so there have been no updates to the news section of this site... welcome to the end of september.. to be honest there is really nothing new to report... so I am gonna scrape for whatever I can here... the hot rod circuit record came out about a week ago, I know I dont need to say this, but you need it, it's fuckin awesome.. plus they rule so you should support them. in other release news the new amsterdams record also came out the same day, it features matt and robbie from the get up kids as well as alex brahl and a dude named jake, this record sounds nothing like the get up kids, but it is really good.. pretty mellow, there are only drums on a few songs... most of it is just acoustic... In label news, there isn't much to report, the miracle of 86 record is at the plant and shoudl be back in about two weeks.. it will officially be in stores on Halloween we shoudl have them a week or two before that... and finally we are proud to announce that our first release of the new year will be the beat scientific "students of the drum" full length (more info soon to come on that when we have it.) other than that is seems that just about everyone I know is miserable right now, it must be something in the air.. so why try and be all chatty on here.. talk to you soon.. mike.
