11.01.00 ok here is a half ass news update... some new some old.. you can now order fadeaway and fadeaway related releases online through our own private store supplied by muchmerch.com... click here to start shopping. if you are ordering from us and sending us a payment, either send cash (well hidden) or a money order written out to FADEAWAY RECORDS, please don't send checks... there was a huge halloween party in brooklyn hosted bye the sperber sisters ( teeter, amy and heather) at the charleston on bedford ave click here to see some pictures... the party ruled.. if you didn't come out.. you missed out... the miracle of 86 record is officially finished.. although it isn't going to be in stores until halloween... their record release show was on the 29th and for all of you who came out to show your support... we want to thank you.. the show went really well and the bands all rocked... as a bunch of you know, or those of you who read the news on this site (I think there are a few of you) I was just out with the get up kids for a few weeks, and if anyone cares, my pictures are now on the internet... if you wanna look click here... I dont think they are live on their site yet.. but that link goes directly to the page.. so if you want have a look, if not then dont. a bunch of us we lucky enough to goto the taping of conan obrien yesterday before the party to see at the drive-in.. they were out of control.. the audience was about 98% kids who just wanted to see them.. and I can say that no one was dissapointed.. they went nuts.. the crowd made conan nervious the whole time.. it was awesome.. I heard that they replay the shows from this week late nite next week.. try to catch it then if you missed it... I have also been asked to let everyone know that kneel is currently holding auditions for a girlfriend for more info please write to Info@fadeawayrecords.com feel free to send photos and essays to this address those with a history of cheating need not apply... finally a anecdote from josh berwanger of the anniversary... I went to Best Buy the other day right down the street from my house, but wait... (first off I live in a really snobby area where all the high school kids drive mustangs and range rovers and the population of black people is about 15% but all the white kids think they're black and I think you get the picture.) So I walk into best buy with my girlfriend and the new limp bizkit was released yesterday??? There is a big display of them out and as we walk by I said outloud..."Limp Bizkit, yeah!" So my girlfriend and I are looking at the dvd's and all the sudden I faintly hear this voice..."I got the Bizkit, dawg." I keep looking at the dvd's hoping he wasn't talking to me. But, wouldn't ya know it he was. So him and three other friends surround me in Best Buy and this huge jocky one says again "I got the new Bizkit yo." So I reply by saying "That's great." Then his friend says "Yo man you dissing us? We heard you say Limp Bizkit to our girl." Then I reply "What are you talking about?" They stand there confused for about a minute. Then my sarcastic mode kicked in. I suddenly replied "Yo yo dawg, you got the new Limp? wiggidy word I heard it's killa." Then the jock said "Yo man I think he's making fun at us." "Hey you want to fight?" He then shouted. I said "Yeah that would be such a great idea to have four of you guys twice my size beat me up in Best Buy, let's do it...Hit me!" The big one said "You don't want me to hit you, I'll kill you." I said "Hit me I dare you, hit me." The other one said to me "Dude you are a dumb ass." and then signaled to his friends "let's get outta here." And so the story ends they all starred at me for a while and finally left.
