11.1.99 josh, mario, and joe from last days of august have been trying out singer/guitarists. if youre interested drop us a line here and we will forward the word. also this years model featuring ex members of sons of abraham and irony of lightfoot are trying out drummers if you're interested in that drop a line here too and we will forward that word as well. the movielife have just embarked on yet another outing, this time as a four piece as they have parted ways with beloved guitarist dave o'conell. we understand they have already found a replacement so stay tuned for more news. the miracle of 86's debut full length will be out shortly give it two months i say.... they have also recently been added to a hardcore tribute to dinosaur jr. we are looking forward to hear what song they will perform. d000bin has been speaking to saves the day about a possible split 7'. i will let you know all about it once we have the definites. rpod played a monsterous halloween show complete with strobe lights and smoke machines making me wet to work with them. as soon as i know details you'll know details. rumor has it we might be putting out the long over due 52x liver damage ep. the legendary band broke up well over two years ago and i am still listening to the fifth generation tape copy i have. you need us to put this out! vincent and thomas from inside are starting a new band .... probably titled blood red, I will let you know more when I hear more. stryder and further are both going into the studio to record. neither have label support yet so i give both those bands extra credit for getting on the ball and doing it themselves. good for you guys i wish you the best. i saw a band called forward recently and they blew me away. a mix of texas is the reason and ash / marion style brit pop. check this band out if you get the chance. buffalo's now shes gone has agreed to do work with us and i guarentee it will be a wonderful relationship. expect a six song ep out sometime in early 2000. this moment on is finishing up their demo. it features stefan from sons of abraham and glassjaw on drums and mitch and al from blankface. i cant wait to hear this and neither should you. i ran into matt from vod the other day and he said the new stuff is like nothin we have ever heard. that tim is really breaking out as a vocalist and they arent holding back anything musically. i personally cannot wait to hear the new stuff. he said they have 7 songs written and they will be demoing for majors in the upcoming weeks. intransit played wusb radio this past weekend and played better than ever, they are really coming into their own, check them out before you see their t shirts in the mall. daryl from glassjaw has started a side project with members of the movielife, hometown hero and sons of abraham called in general and from what i've heard so far its san diego circa 93 style hardcore and it will turn the scene on its ear. be on the lookout for that. speaking of glassjaw, the are finishing up mixing this week and we should expect the record out sometime soon. and last but not least,we are currently speaking to a band from california called derbyshire(machine gun kelly), they are absolutely incredible and you best keep your greedy little paws off of them until we have something inked. they are so good i am willing to draw blood. thanx again -neil
