11.15.99 the movielife are finishing up the second leg of their us tour in support of their debut lp its go time.. and things seem to be going great now shes gone just went in to the studio for their ep on fadeaway and everyhting sounds great so far. watch out for this band they are gonna blow up. also they just finished up some dates with a band on a shitty label, both of whom are a bunch of assholes so i won't even give them the plug, and they played one show with connecticut's Six Ways From Sunday who were incredible and had their own, original sound. check them out as well if you get the chance. we are currently working out details on buying the rights to loyola colleges hardcore tv so we can release a best of hardcore tv video comp josh from shift is a new band and is playing out now, it is called big colapse. joe from last days of august has taken over drumming duties for this years model, they should be heading into the studio sometime in december so keep your eye out for that. drag body has a new record coming out december 1st on now or never records, called flip the kill switch. it should i heard it a little while ago and it is soooo fuckin heavy. check them out on tour with kill your idols from december 11-17 or with as friends rust from december 27- january 6 the rest of the guys in last days of august are still trying out singer/ guitarists so if you are interested drop us a line here stryder are going to DC in Mid December to record three new jams at Salad Days with Brian McTernan, and everyone over at the stryder camp tells me the new stuff is even better. derbyshire from california are heading into the studio to record a track for our best comp in the world and a split 7" with hunter gatherer. rumor has it that we will also be seeing a collabarative effort from james dewees of the getupkid and coalesce and daryl palumbo from glassjaw. that should be something to write home about.... we just spent a few days with the get up kids and the strangest thing happened....they played a show in philladelphia and five kids left for the hospital and wound up with stitches... how does that happen, how come one small group of kids can be such assholes and ruin it for everyone. i know we werent the only kids who traveled for that show, so to make the getupkids have to stop their set for stupid violence is ridiculous. try to keep it in your pants tough guys! -neil
